Now you are all in the same boat as me. This is one of those things about which I can’t just say “oh that’s cool, it’ll be nice when that becomes the norm.” No. I need one of these displays. Now. So I can look at pictures like this one from Doug Cawker, my new favorite HDR photographer.

p.s. normally I wouldn’t be so lame as to post about something that’s so old it was slashdotted almost two weeks ago. But I’m late to the party on this one and I couldn’t help but point it out.

I made it back around 1pm CST yesterday and promptly crashed from 4pm - 4am. I know I probably should have stayed up, but I had only had 1 hour sleep in the last 36, so sleep in my own bed was too good to pass up.

I certainly have a good many pictures I'd like to upload, and will do so soon. I spent most of the flight home organizing them. I sitll love Adobe Elements for this (upgraded from photoshop album a while ago). One cool thing, that I don't know if I've mentioned, is that when I tag pictures in Elements and write the tags to the files (as IPTC keywords) they get picked up by Flickr even when I upload via Flock. Not to mention Vista sees those tags too. Not too shabby.

Anyway, I'm not ready to upload much yet but I figured I'd show the boat I was on for the week. I'm going to be looking for ways to sail more often now, because this was a blast.

I was unedingly impressed with the GAP Adventures tour guide, Patrick, and will not hesitate to use this company again. You should definitely check them out if you fancy yourself a serious traveler.
